CBSE CURRICULUM
The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education with English as the First Language.
KINDERGARTEN
At STACG, we follow the Montessori Method with respect to arousing curiosity in child. In this approach, Children are allowed to grow by sensitising them in various activities. The child thus learns with greater enthusiasm. The teachers at STACG respect each child and their unique path of learning with lot of sensitivity. The Teacher does also try to inspire them to engage in enough activities that will enrich their experiences and lead them forward.
PRIMARY SCHOOL ( I - V )
We follow five day class system from Monday to Friday for the Primary section. They have classes in English, Tamil, Hindi, Math and Environmental Studies. They are further enriched with classes in Computer, Language Lab, Art, Dance, Music, Yoga, and Physical Education. The teaching methodology is based on NCERT guidelines. We closely attend to aspiration of students in academics while rooted in social, physical, emotional and cultural needs. Children learn how to push their limits in everything they choose to do. The classroom reverberates with the sounds of happy children in a joyful environment. School strictly implements “No homework policy” for classes I and II.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ( VI - VIII )
The Middle school programme at STACG has been structured on the premise of experiential learning with the aim to arrive at optimum learning outcomes. The Middle school curriculum offers the following subjects to their students: English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Tamil, III Language: Hindi, Vocational Subjects: PET, Art, Music. By the end of middle school programme students become aware of their strengths and develop a positive outlook towards life.
SECONDARY SCHOOL ( IX - X )
At STACG, we offer the of class IX & X a variety of experiences to enable them achieve smooth transition from Secondary School to range of study options available at Senior School and beyond. We aim to assist our students to develop their potential as they evolve into responsible citizens in a rapidly changing society. They are offered the following subjects: English, Tamil, Hindi (optional), Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Skill Subjects include Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence along with Vocational Subjects: PET, Art, Music.
SENIOR SECONDARY ( XI – XII )
The Senior Secondary School programme has been structured of promoting cultural learning, promoting physical fitness and ability to understand and utilise technology. Strengthening the knowledge of students and attitude related to livelihood skill.
